Great Songs For Christmas: "I Need a Silent Night"

Some songs are obviously Christmas classics, having earned that status and regard by being treasured by so many throughout the years.  Plus they have remarkable staying power; so many of us can recall ALL of the words to these songs.

This song by Amy Grant should be considered a "new" classic, IMO.  It speaks to all of us with good intentions and very little time because of all the things we are forced to fit into our lives, whether it be work, family, social obligations, community responsiblities, and all those little chores and tasks that become big ones when we can't get to them right away.

The most precious part of this song is the reciting of part of the Christmas story from the Bible by her daughter (I think her name is Corrina).  Daddy is the wonderful Vince Gill, so Corrina has some very promising musical genes.
